I knew Keri only a brief time. She was the cousin of my son’s wife. Keri stole your heart the minute you met her.
My son died from an asthma attack only 8 days after his wedding on April 29, 2006. Keri was in the wedding and shortly thereafter she began to have problems walking.
I have been very fortunate to continue a relationship with my daughter-in-law’s family. I feel God has placed us together for a reason. As I am still grieving the loss of my son, it has been difficult for me to help with the conferences and fundraisers. I plan on attending the meeting in Kernersville on January 15th and I now feel I can somehow help with the Keri B. Still conference on ALS.
I saw what devastation it can do to human life and watched Keri die slowly, not even being able to hold her baby.
She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and I hope eveyone reading this will commit to doing something for this well needed conference.
God bless you,
Pat Harris

It’s a great thing you’ve done here with this blog. I am so sorry for your loss. Thanks for coming over to Momformation and giving everyone a reality check. All mothers need to be reminded about the fleeting, fragile quality of life and love and raising children. Thanks and God Bless.

That was BEAUTIFUL! I do not know you guys perssonally, but I have been following Keri’s story when it was in the Winston Salem Journal and everything that has happened since. I have a 2 1/2 year old and this breaks my heart, I could not imagine, I cried when I watch the slideshow. I know Keri is with her precious little girl each day and watches over her. Keri was beautiful and I know she was a wonderful mom you can tell that by all the heart touching pictures. God Bless you all.

This is a beautiful slideshow Joanie. Noelle and I are so sorry we couldn’t make it that day… But since we missed it, we’d love to leave flowers at the site if it’s ok with you.
