Keri was an over-achiever in school, reaching academically gifted levels in all her studies. She attended Winston-Salem/Forsyth County’s Summer Enrichment programs where she studied in the arts and home economy. Keri loved the plays! She performed at the R.J. Reynolds Auditorium full-scale productions of:

2. HELLO DOLLY
3. THE WIZARD OF OZ
4. THE KING AND I

Music was a large part of Keri’s life; she belonged to Sigma Alpha Iota, where she served as a officer; leading many projects and community service efforts.

App. State Marching Band (Trumpet)Keri was a member of the MARCHING MOUNTAINEERS, playing the trumpet; her instrument of choice since middle school. Keri also played keyboard and french horn. Other musical ensembles included the ApChorale, the Belltones quartet, and Concert Band.

She was awarded memberships in the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and the
Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
